The shotgun is a powerful and versatile firearm with a wide variety of ammunition on the market. It is a do it all platform from up close and personal to 75 plus yards. The only downside is with limited magazine capacity, you must keep feeding the gun.

You will get your exercise in this class; running the shotgun is a workout.

This class does not qualify for carry permit training certificate.

Level: Basic
Prerequisite: None
Duration: 2 Days (2 hours in the classroom and 14 hours on the range)
Class Size: 12 students maximum
Equipment: Pump shotgun, dump pouch or satchel, sling is recommended
Personal Protective Equipment: Eye and ear pro, optional knee and elbow pads
Round Count:
250 rounds of 7/8 oz bird shot factory ammo, more is always better
20-25 rouds of slug (Lowrecoil/reduce recoil is ok)
10 rounds of 00 buckshot (Lowrecoil/reduce recoil is ok)
