Our foremost goal at
Vista Defense Training is quality training, second only to safety. In many of our handgun classes, you will draw your handgun from a holster, moving and shooting. In our long gun classes, you will be moving and shooting. We want everyone to have a safe, fun learning environment.
With everyone's busy schedule, personalized class dates work best for most of our clients; therefore, we do not have regularly scheduled classes.

Our home range is
Pikes Peak Gun Club, a family-oriented shooting facility located in Eastern Colorado Springs.
Unless noted in the description, all our handgun classes surpass the training requirements to obtain a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP).
Only factory ammunition is allowed in class due to insurance restrictions. Hearing and eye protection is mandatory during live-fire, closed-toe shoes, long pants, high neck shirts for men and women.
With ammunition in short supply for the foreseeable feature, the round count listed for each class is a recommendation. If you can spare more rounds, bring them. We can work with half the total rounds. The only exception is the shotgun class; slug and buckshot totals are firm.
